Mobile Cocoa Exhibition comes to Berlin - Berlin

Exhibition. At the start of the Amazon Week, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Colombian cocoa farmers for several weeks. Visitors to the exhibition will learn about the origin of sustainably grown cocoa. This cocoa is offered on the German market by various cocoa farmers' associations in the department of Caquetá: Asoacasan and Asproabelén. Since 2008 and 2014, cocoa farmers have been working in their organizations to strengthen this new, peaceful way of life that they found after the signing of the 2016 peace agreement. The exhibition comes directly from the factory of Confiserie Dengel, a German company specializing in gourmet chocolate that has also been processing Colombian organic raw cocoa since last year. The project "Protected Areas and Peace" is led by WWF, supported by BMUV and carried out in partnership with the Colombian national parks. It supports six protected areas and their territorial governance.
